The idea
The modules we always wished Beaver Builder had
We've built client sites with Beaver Builder for years, and we love it: it's stable, fast to work with and easy for clients to edit. The one thing we kept reaching for was motion: text that reveals as you scroll, lines that draw themselves, cards that stack, video that plays with the scroll. We were hand-coding those effects project after project.
So we turned them into proper Beaver Builder modules: native, editable in the builder, light on the page and kind to every visitor. Kinetic Modules is the toolkit we wanted for our own projects, and now it's available to every Beaver Builder user.

How it's built
Native to Beaver Builder, light on the page
- Native Beaver Builder modules and a "Kinetic" settings tab. Everything is set up and edited in the builder, with no code and no separate timeline editor. The Kinetic tab appears on every row, column and module, including modules from other add-ons.
- Vanilla JavaScript, with no jQuery or GSAP on the front end. It's built on IntersectionObserver, requestAnimationFrame, the Web Animations API and CSS scroll-driven animations, with a lightweight fallback where browsers don't support them yet.
- Loads only where it's used. Scripts and styles are only added to pages that use a Kinetic module or effect, and any feature can be switched off entirely.
- Respects reduced motion. Visitors who ask their device for less motion get static, fully readable content: no scroll effects, static marquees, text shown at once.
- Accessible by design. Text stays real text for screen readers and search engines, the slider follows the WAI-ARIA carousel pattern with keyboard support and a pause button, and the marquee has a pause button and pauses on focus.
- Private. The free plugin makes no remote requests, sets no cookies and collects no data.
- Works with Beaver Builder Lite and Pro, and with Beaver Themer headers.
